About Mary E. Scott

Mary E. Scott

Mary Scott is the founder and President of Scott Resource Group, a recruitment consulting and training firm specializing in university relations and strategic staffing issues. Drawing on over twenty-five years of hands-on staffing and recruitment experience combining the corporate, academic and consulting perspectives, she provides professional services in university relations and recruitment to a client roster that has included some of the biggest and best-known employers in the nation. Ms. Scott is also a Managing Partner of IronHorse Surveys, LLC, a provider of Web-based recruitment program evaluation tools.

Prior to forming the Company in 1988, Ms. Scott served in a number of increasingly responsible positions during 10 years as a recruitment professional at Aetna. As Director, Corporate Staffing, Ms. Scott had management responsibility for all Corporate Headquarters employment, as well as Aetna's national college relations and intern programs, information systems recruitment, temporary employee, and management development programs. She has five years additional recruitment experience as Assistant Director of Admissions at a private liberal arts college. Ms. Scott received her undergraduate degree in English from Saint Joseph College, West Hartford, Connecticut, and holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Connecticut.
